Great Sites To Buy Jewelry

Accessorize.com

This site sells everything accessory you can think of. I really like this one because of their girly vintage style. The best part is most of their products are non-expensive!

This site has very unique jewelry you don't see much on the street. That's why this one is my personal favorite. The prices are reasonable too.

Now their jewelry is a little on the pricey side but their products are absolutely GORGEOUS! If you're more of a classy girl and you love classy jewelry, this site is just for you.

How To Grow Your Nails Successfully

Do you have a bad habit of biting your nails? A lot of teens have problems with biting their nails and desperately want to quit. It may not be easy like quitting any other habit isn't but the results are amazing! It's worth trying if you'd like to grow elegantly long and strong nails. Follow some of these tips to help you:

  • Restrict yourself to biting the nails on just one hand and then on only one nail. You'll soon be inspired to grow out the bitten one.
  • Every day apply scented hand lotion or an anti-nail-biting cream. The disgusting flavor will keep you from nibbling your nails.
  • Try using glue on nails for a few weeks so your own nails can grow underneath.

HEALTHY NAILS

After practicing those previous tips and you've broke your nail biting habit, try these techniques to maintain them:
  • Protein allows your nails to grow strong and healthy. Eat two portions a day: fish, meat, soy, dairy, and beans.
  • When washing the dishes, be sure to wear latex gloves. Soaking your hands in water weakens your nails.
  • When your nails start to grow, keep them in shape with a nail file or an emery board to keep them from breaking (Never file back and forth, as it can cause the nail layers to split).
  • When you file your nails, make sure they are dry and file in one direction only, at a 45 degree angle under the nail.
  • Never file down into the sides of your nail. That can really weaken your nails and cause infection.
  • Never use your nail as a tool. Find the right tool for the job instead of taking the risk of growing your nail all over again.
  • Once a week, soak your nails in a bowl of olive oil for ten minutes. Then wipe away access oil with a cotton ball.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Nails grow faster in the summer than in the winter.
  • Nails grow about 1/8 inch a month.
  • Your middle finger nail grows the quickest while your thumb nail grows the slowest.
  • If you've lost a nail because of an accident, it'll take about six months to grow back.
  • A child's nail grows more quickly than an adult's.
  • Toe nails grow slower than finger nails.

How to Give Yourself a Mini Facial

Ever want to feel like you're in your own little personal spa? Now you can by treating yourself to your own mini facial. It's only a few simple and easy steps with supplies and ingredients you might likely have around your house. Every couple of weeks, set aside a bit of time to give yourself a salon-style facial at home. Feel brand new and refreshed following these quick steps.

What you will need:

  • Facial Wash
  • 2 Clean Towels (One dry, the other damp)
  • Facial Scrub (or dry uncooked oatmeal)
  • Bowl
  • Six strawberries or a Banana (Strawberries for oily skin, Banana for dry/normal skin)
  • Fork
  • Clean Tissue
  • Facial Moisturizer

Steps:

  1. Smooth your skin with some facial wash. Leave it on for one or two minutes to give it time to dissolve and makeup or bacteria on your skin. Then wipe away with a clean damp towel.
  2. Massage a good amount of facial scrub or some dry, uncooked oatmeal over your skin to whisk away dead surface skin cells and clear blocked pores. Rinse away with warm water.
  3. Fill a bowl with freshly boiled water. Then lean over the bowl, capturing the steam by placing the towel over your head. Keep your face there for about five minutes to allow the steam to warm and soften your skin. If you have sensitive skin, it's recommended to skip this step.
  4. Splash your face with warm water and pat dry.
  5. Smooth on a homemade fruit facial: If you have oily skin: Crush six strawberries with a fork, smooth onto your face, and leave on for three minutes. If you have normal/dry skin: Crush a peeled banana with a fork, smooth onto your face and leave on for five minutes.
  6. Remove mask with a clean tissue, then rinse your face with warm water.
  7. Finish with a splash of cool water to freshen your skin. Pat dry with a towel.
  8. Put a small amount of moisturizer and massage it in to encourage a brighter complexion.
